Customer.io Tracker for Shopify

How to activate the tracker

The app works as a Theme Extension, so you enable it inside the Shopify theme editor. Five steps:

1. Open the theme editor. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes and click Customize on your current theme.
2. Go to App embeds. In the left sidebar look for the App embeds icon (a floating block, usually the third one down the far left edge).
3. Enable the tracker. Find Customer.io Tracker by Hyppo in the list and toggle the switch ON.
4. Enter your Write Key. Click the small arrow next to the tracker name to expand its settings and paste your Customer.io Write Key there. You will find it in your dashboard under Settings → Integrations → JavaScript snippet.
5. Save. Hit Save in the top right corner of the editor.

That’s it: Customer.io is now tracking visitors and events on your store.
